Muchtar Nankivell

Muchtar has been involved in Subud enterprise on and off since he was first opened in Subud in January 1971. Ten years ago Muchtar developed a successful website for the locating and selling of used books online (www.usedbooksearch.co.uk) , which not only earns a reasonable living for Muchtar, but is sufficiently automated to enable him to give back to Subud some time and experience in the role of SES Britain chair. His other work experience has been extremely varied from semi professional soccer player to portrait artist, builder, accountant, information manager in the NHS, computer systems salesman etc. etc..

Raphael O'Leary

Raphael started work in the construction industry in January 1964 and continued until his retirement January 2008. During his career, he spent 32 years as a Construction Superintendent, responsible for on site management of construction projects. His typical responsibilities included developing and enforcing schedules, project budget, organization, motivation and control of work force and project safety. His projects include: box stores (Walmart etc), numerous high rise towers, office complexes, hospital, medical labs, high schools, university buildings and residences, restaurants, theatres, residential apartments. Civil work included roads and sewers and two light rail transit stations. From January 2008 to present, his enterprise has been trading the stock market. Raphael was opened in April 1964.

Fauzan Valenzuela

Fauzan, 35, is a psychologist, currently working as a business consultant and in training, mainly focused on areas of sales and teamwork. www.cahuala.cl.

Hamid Kaber

Hamid has two major areas of expertise:
• Design and engineering of large scale industrial/commercial security systems (airports, seaports, high rise buildings, etc.; more than 40 years experience). • Assisting small businesses in developing/ implementing internet marketing strategies (past 5 years).
Current active projects include: product management for a water quality monitoring system; sales development for a Subud jewellery company; internet marketing for health and wellness business; internet marketing for medical tourism business. Hamid is a US citizen and has been living in Costa Rica for the past eight years, is divorced and has two children, ages 11 and 18.

Zohar Shaked

Zohar, 30, has been in Subud for seven years. She is married and the mother of two young boys. Most recently, Zohar worked in a credit card company in Israel where she was part of a team providing professional advice and guidelines to the customer service department. In her role, she was also involved in problem solving, project management and oversight. Zohar recently left her job to spend more time with her young family, as a result of which she also has some time to devote to SES. She plans to open her own business in the near future.

Major (Rtd) Harjit Singh Rendawa

Harjit (Harry to his friends) is a training consultant and facilitator with more than 30 years experience and is currently on the panel at Rendhawa Consulting. Harjit is also an event manager and project consultant – and in the latter capacity his clients have included Muda Jaya, Guthrie, Tenaga Nasional, ABB, Alstom, Liberty Power, Laraib Energy and ARC Developments International. Harjit received his Commission from the Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst, UK and his early career was as a military engineer with the Royal Corp of Engineers. In 1995, he took optional retirement from the Malaysian Armed Forces after 25 years of service. His previous roles in Subud have included Kejiwaan Councillor for Pakistan Chairperson of Subud Malaysia.

Tatiana Burtsaeva

Tatiana, 22, was opened in Subud in December 2010. She graduated from the Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova, Finance and Banks Department. At the moment Tatiana is a loan officer, dealing with corporate entities, in a local commercial bank.

Amund MARKUS Hoff Berge

Markus is a director of the business FLOCHEM AS www.flochem.no -- a small but successful company which he founded in 1983. Markus has also been Zone Representative of Zone 4 for two periods. He was Chairman of MSF from 1994 1998. In 1992, Markus co-founded ICDP International Child Development Programmes which he administered until 2006. Markus is now retired.

Harita Markevich

I was opened in Subud. 7 years ago. I had a big experience of creation of own business (positive, and not so) in the beauty Industry (15 shops and the medical-cosmetology centre). The last years I worked as the executive director of the real estate company to sale a large ground areas and managed the office centres. After the congress in New Zealand, when I returned to Moscow I found that the company has ceased to exist because of world economic crisis. And now I actively search for application my communicative and organizer abilities. I became the group helper in summer 2010.

Rumi Bathusha

Rumi has been in Hire Purchase Financing, Manufacturing, Imports & Exports and General Management for over 35 years in the Private Sector, after initial training at Turquand, Youngs & Co.- Chartered Accountants (now Ernst & Young). After retirement as General Manager of Ellawala Jewellery (Pvt) Ltd, a Jewellery Manufacturing and Export Company, Rumi worked as a freelance consultant for a year and then as CEO of the Sri Lanka Gem & Jewellery Association before forming a property development company with four other Subud Members; namely Sisila Developments (Pvt) Ltd of which he is an Executive Director.

Rumi is also the Hony.Treasurer of Subud Sri Lanka. In addition to his duties as Treasurer he helps out with all administrative work at Subud House including the proper maintenance of the new Subud building. He was also involved in coordinating the construction of the Subud building.

Matvey Maslov

Matvey is a computer programmer who has been writing software for more than 10 years. Besides just tinkering with computers he has been involved in a few IT start-ups as a founder. He also started one of the first in ex-USSR consultancies to help people with using efficient software construction practices. Currently, he works as a programmer for Sciworth Labs, creator of the World's best English grammar checker Grammarly (http://www.grammarly.com).

Rosetta Narvaez

Rosetta is currently VP at an international financial institution in Boston and has spent that last years in the financial and banking sector. Previously, she owned a small management consulting company (5+ years) which was focused on statistical modelling, forecasting, program evaluation, and market research. Rosetta has an MA in Applied Economics (Econometrics; International Trade and Finance) from American University in Washington, D.C. She is active on a number of Subud, non-profit, and community boards. Rosetta is a former actress, coach, and surfer / bodyboarder. She was raised in Indonesia and Hawaii; has lived in California, and Washington, D.C. and is currently residing in Rhode Island, USA. Her interests include microcredit and start-up business financing, small recession-proof community businesses (eg vending, carwash, corner stores, laundry mat), elderly care facilities, and more . . .
